About Me: I have been a teacher of history since the year 2000. I graduated with a undergraduate degree in History and International Relations from Saint Leo University. I attended Virgina Tech for graduate school in the field of Curriculum and Instruction with a focus of Instructional Technology and am now finishing up another masters degree in History with a focus on Developing Nations, at Syracuse University (where I spend some of my summers). I am also an alumni of the University of Florida NCTA (Asian Studies) program. I have a love of learning and will be a student until the day I die.

 

Before teaching I worked with troubled teens in Tampa as I went to college full time.I am a Navy veteran who served in The Middle East, Haiti, and the former Yugoslavia, just to name a few. I am married to an amazing woman of 12 years with three kids Hannah (11) Gracie Ann (9) and Braden (4). Since we live in New Smyrna, we spend much of the time at the beach and watching our beloved Red Sox, The Patriots and the Virginia Tech Hokies.

 

I am currently The Head Coach of the Boys Water Polo Team. I also coach club water polo at Patriot Aquatics, coach at the United States Naval Academy during the summer and am a coach of the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program. I look forward to the school year and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions and concerns.
