This will be my 12th year teaching at Bishop Moore Catholic High School. After a two year hiatus (2003-2005), I am happy to be back. The two years I spent away from BMCHS, I attended the University of Central Florida and obtained a Masters of Education in Social Science Education. Prior to teaching and obtaining my MEd., I graduated from Florida State University (89') with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business-Marketing. After a few years in sales, I decided to go back to school (UCF) and obtain my teaching certification in Social Sciences.
On a personal note, I have been married seventeen wonderful years. My wife, Lisa, is an ER physician. We have three amazing and beautiful children; Nick (15), Meghan (11), and Drew (9).
I look forward to incorporating challenging and exciting pedagogical practices and techniques into my classes to enhance student learning. My students will be engaged in meaningful discourse and activities that will ensure their academic success and social development. I look forward to getting to know all of my students and their parents so that our dialogue will be one of mutual respect and understanding.
