Bishop Moore Catholic High School National Honor Society
- The purpose of the organization is to improve standards of scholarship, leadership, character, and service.
- The organization will abide by the National Constitution
- To be eligible for admission, the following is necessary:
- The candidate must have been in attendance at Bishop Moore for a minimum of one semester and be at least a Junior.
- Must be a student who meets the academic requirement of a 3.500 Grade Point average, as calculated by the Guidance Office.
- Each applicant must have completed and filed on time the required forms for membership application to be considered a valid candidate.
- The selection of new members shall be made by the Faculty Council.
- Criteria for membership is based on the four standards of scholarship, leadership, character, and service.
- The meetings will be held in the cafeteria on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:10 AM in the cafe'. Extra meetings when necessary will be held after school.
- The advisor will be appointed by the principal. The advisor will be present at all functions and meetings of the NHS Chapter.
- One or more service projects will be done during the year.
- Applications are available to juniors and seniors usually in September.
- Students who are cited for cheating are subject to dismissal.
