Winter Sports Parent Meeting -- DATE CHANGE -- winter sports parents meeting has been changed to November 24, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the gym. This is due to previously scheduled games which would prohibit attendance of some sports. Following the parent meeting, will be a presentation on MRSA at 7:30 pm for all parents and students for all sports, all seasons. The lecture and video is approximately 50 minutes and will be presented by Dr. Joseph Torres.

Bus(es) for Dade City Pasco -- please contact the athletic office if you would like to ride a bus to the football game on Friday night to Dade City. Students not traveling with their parents require a permission slip. Parents, students, faculty and staff may sign up. The cost is $10 per person to help offset the cost and we MUST have a head count by Wednesday at 4 pm to secure the buses. Release Form

Boys Basketball Parent Meeting is Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the CAFETERIA. This meeting is for parents of all three teams and those not yet out due to other sports.

Dance Team parent meeting is Wednesday, November 20, 2008 at 7 pm in the cafeteria follwoing the 4:30 - 6:30 practice also in the cafeteria. Please chekc the Dance website for the roster. Click Here

Boy's Basketball team to play at Amway Arena -- the Hornet basketball team will play Bishop Kenny on December 20, 2008 at 2:30 pm at the Amway Arena as a preliminary game to the Magic-Lakers game at 7 pm. Both games can be seen for $27 per ticket with preferred group seating for the Magic-Laker game. Contact the athletic office to reserve your seat.

Coach Harry Nelson set the standard for what Bishop Moore football was all about during his tenure from 1964 to 1977. He will be remembered not just for the wins and losses, but more importantly for the affect he had on the many young men that played for him,as well as the many students he taught in class. Memorial Stadium's field will be named in his honor this fall at the home game on September 19, 2008. Click for details.

Athletic Participation forms must be completed each year in order to compete in FHSAA sanctioned events. The form can be obtained by clicking below or going the athletic forms section of the web page. These forms are valid for one calendar year from the date of the physical. The form MUST be turned in prior to your child attending tryouts and/or summer activities for a particular sport. An FHSAA consent and liability form must also be turned in with the participation form. It may also be obtained by clicking below. Florida Department of Health generic forms are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
