Mr. William Shade, SFO
Religion Department
Mr. Shade is beginning his twelfth year in the Bishop Moore Religion Department, during which time he has taught courses in Church History, Social Justice, Morality, Old Testament, New Testament and Freshman Religion.
A member of the Secular Franciscan Order, Mr. Shade made a pilgrimage to Assisi, Italy during the summer of 2003 and visited the Basilica of Saint Francis as well as the small church "La Porziuncula" where Saint Francis heard the call of God.
In 2002, Mr. Shade married BMCHS English Teacher Miss Jeannie Steele [now Mrs. Jeannie Shade]. In May 2006, Mr. and Mrs. Shade welcomed their first child, a baby daughter named Julia Mary.
Mr. Shade holds a Masters Degree in Divinity from Saint John's University in Minnesota.
