Salvete, parentes et discipuli! I am looking forward to seeing you all again in Latin III and to meeting the new Latin II students.

Quis sum? A newcomer to Florida, I moved here from New Hampshire in the summer of 2004, just in time for the 3 hurricanes! This is my eighth year at Bishop Moore.

Quid facere amo? I have been enjoying lots of year-round tennis, bicycling, and working out at the gym. I used to teach skiing but it is a bit hard to find a mountain with snow in Florida! When I am not doing sports, I like to quilt, garden, shop and read, especially Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek. I also read Clive Cussler, John Grisham and Tom Clancy.Jeopardy is my favorite TV show, not to mention good movies! As for TV in general, I very seldom watch  anything. I am also learning to play golf, but it is a very slow process.

In quo universitate studui? Et quas materias? I received my BA and my Masters degrees from the University of New Hampshire in Latin, French and Education. I also studied French at Universite Laval in Quebec City and linguistics in French at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Familia: I have 2 boys, one a photographer in NYC and the other a musician in Portland, Maine. And yes, they both speak French with me! And they studied some Latin and Spanish as well.
