SAT and ACT Testing

Most colleges and universities require entrance exams to determine a baseline for their course offerings. These tests are very important! Your scores can open up doors for scholarships and/or in-house tuition reductions, and they might even allow you to “CLEP out” of certain classes while earning college credit!

Bishop Moore is a registered test site for the SAT. We have scheduled testing opportunities throughout the year. We are not a testing facility for the ACT. When registering for the SAT, be sure to include our test site code 10-519. For both the SAT and ACT, you’ll need to send the results of your test to us. Our school code is 101285.

Available Scholarships

It’s never too early to apply for scholarships! Below is a list of open scholarships. Check back regularly, and sign-up for Family Connection for updates!

Ann Hefferin Memorial Endowment
Scholarships awarded are in memory of Ann Marie Hefferin, a 2011 graduate of Bishop Moore Catholic High School, who died suddenly during her first year of college at UCF. This annual scholarship of two $1,000 awards is available. One scholarship is available to an incoming freshman to BMC from either St. Charles Borromeo or St. Margaret Mary who has a demonstrated financial need. Applications are available in the spring from the respective elementary schools. The other scholarship is for a college-bound graduate of BMC. You can find details for current students by accessing Family Connection

Kelly Reen Memorial Endowment
Bishop Moore awards two scholarships in memory of Kelly Erin Reen, a graduate of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Elementary School and a sophomore at Bishop Moore Catholic High School at the time of her passing (class of 2010). One scholarship is available to an incoming freshman to BMC from St. Charles Borromeo who has a demonstrated financial need. Applications are available in the spring from the St. Charles office. The other scholarship is for a college-bound graduate of BMC. You will find details for current students by accessing Family Connection

Michael Scheve Memorial Endowment
Michael Lawrence Scheve graduated from Bishop Moore in 1998 and played on the basketball and golf teams. Michael was passionate about academics, athletics, and helping others. In his memory, the Michael Scheve Memorial Endowment was established in 2014, with proceeds from the Hornet Scramble adding to its total each year. This endowment funds financial assistance applications for students of Bishop Moore and Morning Star School.
