Summer Reading Assignments
Bishop Moore Catholic High School English Department

Summer 2020 Reading List

Students may purchase electronic versions of texts.

Please note that if there is a specific edition required, it will be noted next to the selection.

Many of the selections are available as free e-books through a variety of sites such as Project Gutenberg; others may be found through Amazon as noted/linked, below.

Students are required to read each selection listed by the first day of school, noting the particular themes on which to focus. The themes are listed under each title.

AP Language and Composition (11th grade) and AP Literature and Composition (12th grade) have reading selections that require the completion of assignments.

A list of all summer reading selections for each level of English may be downloaded by clicking here.
