Yearbook: A Brief History:
The Bishop Moore Catholic High School yearbook, Moore Memories, made its debut in 1955. It has grown from a black and white, 93-page book to a full-color, 320-page professional student publication. Moore Memories is produced by a group of dedicated students who are willing to put in their time and talent beyond the classroom.
Journalism Yearbook is a year-long English elective and is led by Yearbook Adviser, Mrs. Helen Chwalisz. Students can enroll as a sophomore entering in Journalism Yearbook 1, and continue through their senior year in Journalism Yearbook 3 Honors. Students enrolled in Journalism are eligible to become members of the Quill and Scroll Honor Society. The course consists of students who hold positions as editors, photographers, graphic designers, and reporters. The curriculum also includes marketing and business management content. Advertising and sales are a significant part of funding the publication of Moore Memories Yearbook. The staff is grateful for your support in the form of purchasing a senior ad, advertising for your business, or ordering a yearbook. Please refer to the side tabs regarding Yearbook Sales, Business Ads, and Senior Ads.
