Marvin Snyder
Marvin Snyder, the head coach of BMC's boys varsity golf team, brings a wealth of experience and success to his role. With 15 years experience as a varsity golf coach including a decade at BMC, Snyder has significantly impacted the program, leading the team to their first district title in 2014 and their first regional title in 2015. Under his leadership, the team has achieved remarkable success with 7 consecutive District Championships, 6 consecutive Regional Championships, and 7 straight appearances in the State Tournament. Notably, the team earned State Runner-Up honors in 2017 and finished 3rd in the State twice. Consistently ranked in the top 5 of Class 2A, the team also won the Qdoba Tournament of Champions in 2017. His coaching prowess is further evidenced by his former players who have advanced to collegiate golf at institutions such as St. Thomas, Emory, New Mexico State, Rollins, Florida Tech, Furman, and USF. Outside of coaching, Coach Snyder is a proud father of triplets (BMC Class of 2028) and a son (BMC Class of 2024) and enjoys playing pickleball in his free time.
Program Success
Our teams have consistently excelled, winning District Championships from 2014 to 2020 and again in 2022 and 2023. They also claimed Regional Championship titles from 2015 to 2020 and achieved the prestigious title of State Runner-Up in 2017, highlighting a sustained commitment to excellence and competitive success.
