Marvin Snyder
Marvin Snyder, the head coach of BMC's boys varsity golf team, brings a wealth of experience and success to his role. With 15 years of experience as a varsity golf coach, including a decade at BMC, Coach Snyder has significantly impacted the program—leading the team to its first District Championship in 2014, first Regional Championship in 2015, and first State Championship in 2025. Under his leadership, the team has achieved remarkable success with nine District Championships, six consecutive Regional Championships, and nine appearances in the State Tournament. Notably, the team earned State Runner-Up honors in 2017 and finished third in the state twice. Consistently ranked in the top five of Class 2A, the program also captured the Qdoba Tournament of Champions title in 2017. In recognition of his outstanding leadership and success, Coach Snyder was named the Florida Dairy Farmers Boys Golf Coach of the Year in 2025. His coaching legacy is further reflected in the many former players who have advanced to collegiate golf at institutions such as St. Thomas, Emory, New Mexico State, Rollins, Florida Tech, Furman, and USF. Outside of coaching, Coach Snyder is a proud father of triplets (BMC Class of 2028) and a son (BMC Class of 2024), and he enjoys playing pickleball in his free time.
Program Success
Our teams have consistently excelled, winning District Championships from 2014 to 2025. They also claimed Regional Championship titles from 2015 to 2020, achieved the prestigious title of State Runner-Up in 2017, and most recently captured the State Championship in 2025, highlighting a sustained commitment to excellence and competitive success.
