BE GREAT! BE MOORE! HORNETS!
Program Success
Our team has achieved remarkable success, securing 1st place in Large Varsity Hip Hop at NDA Nationals for the past three consecutive years. Additionally, we have been honored with the Judges Award for Choreography at NDA, along with a Judges Award for Performance, highlighting our creativity and excellence in dance.
Jasmine Thomas, who earned her AA degree from Seminole State College, is entering her sixth year as the head coach at BMC. She has been coaching and teaching dance since 2010, across various studios and at BMC. Under her leadership, the dance team has achieved remarkable success, winning the NDA Championship for three consecutive years and securing 1st place at Dance Team Union and Groove Dance competitions. The team has also received numerous choreography, performance, and Judges Choice awards. Her alumni have gone on to join college dance teams and some have even transitioned to perform with the NBA Magic dancers and other professional groups. A fun fact about Thomas is that her birth certificate lists two intersections as her place of birth because she was born in an ambulance just two blocks from her home in New York.
