Head COach
Margaret Bennett
Margaret Bennett, a proud graduate of Slippery Rock University with a BS in Commercial Recreation, is embarking on her 13th year with the girls' golf program, including her 6th year as the head coach. Prior to this role, Margaret spent 6 years coaching girls' basketball at St. Margaret Mary. Under her guidance, Ainsley Mann secured an individual state title, and Danelle Owens was a runner-up (around 2018). Danelle Owens continued her athletic journey by playing at Florida Southern, though this detail is to be confirmed with Marvin Snyder. Outside of coaching, Margaret enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with her husband Brian and their five children.
Program Success
The team achieved significant success by becoming District Champions in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023, and 2025, as well as Regional Champions in 2017, 2018, and 2025. Additionally, they proudly secured back-to-back titles in the Peacock Cup tournament.
