Hornet Family,

We welcome all our new and returning Hornets to what promises to be an incredible 2026-2027 school year!

On Monday, we are blessed to welcome more than 1,600 students for the first day of school, a testament to the continued strength of Catholic education and the trust our community places in Bishop Moore Catholic.

As we continue to grow, we have been intentional about maximizing our campus and enhancing our facilities to better serve our students and faculty. Over the summer, we transformed an existing Loretta Hall classroom into a state-of-the-art Biology lab and refinished the gymnasium floor. We have also received final permits and will begin construction on the highly anticipated Center for the Arts! It is truly an exciting time to be a Hornet, and there is much to celebrate as we continue to invest in the future of our storied institution.

This year, I have asked our faculty and staff to embrace the following theme that will guide us in staying true to our Mission of forming our students as future leaders of our faith!

Opening our hearts to following Jesus means more than obeying commandments. 
It is about living a life awakened and transformed by love.
