The purpose of The Writing Center (TWC) is to provide academic services for all students on writing assignments across the curriculum through individual writing conferences and classroom support. Students are instructed as to how and when to ethically use AI (ChatGPT), as well as best practices to build writing, speaking, and oral presentation skills. On any given day, students in TWC  may be working on a lab report, a research paper, or an essay.

TWC is not just for those who need remedial writing tutoring in order to succeed in classes. Our writing specialists serve as a budding writer’s first glimpse into how their audience may react to their work with one-on-one conferences and immediate feedback.
