Sports Performance
With the new Moore Center for Excellence, BMC Athletics added an emphasis on the importance of sports performance. We truly believe that championships are won in the offseason, so we’ve parlayed our state-of-the-art weight room facility with elite strength and conditioning coaches who push our student-athletes to be the best possible versions of themselves. These hardworking coaches aim to implement both in-season and off-season programming for all 28 of our offered athletic programs.

Born and raised in Orlando, FL, Coach Jennifer George grew up playing sports with a concentration in basketball. She received a full scholarship to play basketball at the University of Florida. During her career at UF, she earned All-SEC honors and was an All-American Honorable Mention, later to be inducted as an SEC Legend in 2018. Jennifer was drafted to the WNBA Indiana Fever, played professionally overseas, played for the Jamaican National team, and has won professional championships as well as FIBA international championships. Once she finished her basketball career, she swiftly transitioned to the world of fitness/strength and conditioning. In 2016 she became the strength and conditioning coach for the California powerhouse Sierra Canyon High School girls basketball team. From there she's sculpted sports performance programs at Montverde Academy, Coppin State University, and now back at her Alma Mater.
"I've found in my time on this earth that God's purpose for me is to impact people's lives through fitness and empower young girls, especially that you can be whoever you choose to be with grit, determination, and discipline."

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Coach Fran Pabon moved to Orlando at the age of 5. He played many sports throughout his childhood but gravitated toward Olympic weightlifting and football. Coach Pabon played college football at Monmouth College while earning his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. He completed a 5th year of studies to earn a Master's degree in Kinesiology at Southeastern University and was named a first-year captain of the football program. When he's not at BMC working out our student-athletes, Coach Pabon is a Strength and Conditioning Coach at D1 Training Dr. Phillips, where he trains dozens of professional athletes and hundreds of scholastic athletes.
