About the BMC Alumni Association
The Bishop Moore Catholic High School Alumni Association exists to reconnect, engage, and empower the generations of Hornets who have shaped the legacy of Bishop Moore Catholic High School. As a volunteer-led organization, the Association serves as a bridge between alumni, the school community, and future generations of students.
Open to all individuals who have attended Bishop Moore Catholic High School, the BMC Alumni Association works closely with the Office of Advancement and school leadership to foster lifelong relationships through events, networking opportunities, mentorship programs, reunions, and alumni communications.
The Association is committed to strengthening the Bishop Moore community by:
- Building meaningful connections among alumni across graduating classes
- Supporting school initiatives and advancement efforts
- Organizing alumni events, reunions, and networking opportunities
- Encouraging mentorship and professional engagement
- Preserving and celebrating the traditions and spirit of Bishop Moore Catholic High School
Through its committees and volunteer leadership, the BMC Alumni Association helps alumni stay informed, involved, and connected while creating opportunities for graduates to give back to the Bishop Moore community.
Whether you graduated recently or decades ago, you remain an important part of the Hornet family. The reinstatement of the BMC Alumni Association marks a renewed commitment to alumni engagement, school pride, and lifelong fellowship.
What We Do
The BMC Alumni Association supports alumni engagement through several committees, including:
- Events Committee – Plans and supports alumni events and signature traditions, including Homecoming, Hall of Fame, alumni gatherings, holiday celebrations, and fundraising events.
- Reunion Committee – Coordinates class and milestone reunions while helping maintain and strengthen alumni connections and contact information.
- Communications Committee – Manages alumni communications through newsletters, social media, updates, and ongoing outreach to the alumni community.
- Networking Committee – Creates opportunities for alumni to connect professionally and socially through networking events, affinity groups, and the alumni business directory.
- Mentorship Committee – Supports current students and recent graduates through mentorship programs, guest speakers, and initiatives such as “Adopt a Graduate” and “Future Hornets.”
