Student Life at Bishop Moore Catholic is vibrant and alive. We offer over 50 student-led organizations that reflect the diversity of student interests and student life on campus. Through communities like Peer Ministry, Hornets for Life, Best Buddies, and the Multicultural Club, students are provided opportunities to explore their interests, hone their talents, and become leaders engaged in the world.

Community Service

In 1954, the Sisters of St. Joseph founded Bishop Moore Catholic with the charism of “love for dear neighbor.” Our school seeks to continue this mission and form young men and women who leave BMC to “serve as the light of Christ” in the world. Our community service program is meant to inspire our students to make a gift of themselves to others. By fulfilling the community service requirements, our students are exposed to the needs of others and encouraged to find creative ways to share the light of Christ in a tangible way.

The Classical Music Society, under the direction of Adam Mantovani, delivered a beautiful Christmas Concert last night. The performance showcased a wide variety of ensembles, from strings to soloists, duets, chimes, and trios. Mr. Mantovani praised several musicians who are new to the violin, noting how challenging stringed instruments can be. Impressively, some students have only been playing for just over a year and performed with remarkable poise and talent. She reminded us that God encounters us in the ordinary, everyday moments of our lives, modeling St. Thérèse of Lisieux, who embraced the opportunity to offer things up to God every day; her little way.
