Student Life at Bishop Moore Catholic is vibrant and alive. We offer over 50 student-led organizations that reflect the diversity of student interests and student life on campus. Through communities like Peer Ministry, Hornets for Life, Best Buddies, and the Multicultural Club, students are provided opportunities to explore their interests, hone their talents, and become leaders engaged in the world.

Community Service

In 1954, the Sisters of St. Joseph founded Bishop Moore Catholic with the charism of “love for dear neighbor.” Our school seeks to continue this mission and form young men and women who leave BMC to “serve as the light of Christ” in the world. Our community service program is meant to inspire our students to make a gift of themselves to others. By fulfilling the community service requirements, our students are exposed to the needs of others and encouraged to find creative ways to share the light of Christ in a tangible way.

Our Biomedical students had an incredible opportunity to learn from Griff Parks, PhD, Director of the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences and Professor of Medicine at the UCF College of Medicine. Dr. Parks shared his expertise in biomedical science and medicine, offering students valuable insight into current research. His visit encouraged thoughtful discussion, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the impact biomedical professionals have on improving lives.
