Serving as a Class Contact is a great way to reconnect with your classmates and be of great service to the alumni office!
Class Contacts serve as communications liaisons between the BMC Alumni Association and members of the respective class. They communicate with and encourage their classmates to become involved in activities, events, and giving back to the school. You, as a contact, also assist the Alumni Association in keeping the alumni database up to date with current alumni contact information.
The primary goal of the program is to strengthen the connection between BMC and its alumni. Class Contacts' peer-to-peer outreach has an enormous impact on class participation, event attendance, giving participation, and school connection.
The Class Contact program is a minimal time commitment, and the volunteer work is primarily by email and at your leisure.

Diamonds in the Rough
75 is considered the Diamond Jubilee or anniversary celebration so I guess we are all becoming diamonds!!! We are worth our weight in diamonds!
As promised, we have firmed up the plans, cost for the 75th Birthday Celebration, so here are the preliminary details. More information will follow after the holidays when we can all relax a little.
Dates: May 5-7th, 2023
Place: Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort Daytona Beach
Reservations call 1-800-447-0002 and ask for Bishop Moore HS Reunion. Rates. Deadline to reserve is 4/5/2023.
Cost: $40 per person** This covers the pizza party Friday night, the Hospitality Cottage drinks and dinner Saturday evening.
** A special offer for those just coming on Saturday: BOGO price of $40.
You and your spouse, S/O, friend, offspring, guest…2 for the price of 1.
Plan: We are planning a quiet, relaxed weekend at the beach, just like all the others. We have the 2 bedroom cottage rented as our Hospitality Room again and all the cottages are reserved for us (first come, first served). The other rooms are blocked in the North Tower which is closest to the cottages.
Friday night will be a pizza and wings party in the Hospitality Room. Praying for good weather this time so we can spread outside both days! We will have beer, wine and soft drinks in the Hospitality Room. BYOB if there is something you prefer (liquor, special wines, etc.)
Saturday: Don’t forget the doughnut room for breakfast!!
Potluck lunch and snacks. Bring your favorite appetizer, snack or potluck goodie to share, each room in the North Tower has a kitchette of some kind. This was very successful last time (70th Birthday) and we had more than enough food to last until dinner! Dinner will be Dustin’s BBQ again, always popular and beach appropriate, around 5:30; that way the day trippers can be on their way home before it gets too late (or they can stay and party hardy with the rest of us!) During the day feel free to enjoy the beach, explore local attractions or just hang out and reconnect. Again, pray for good weather for the weekend! We are doing the dinner in the Hospitality Room and spreading to the outdoors with table and chairs. (It was hard to find a space to accommodate all of us for dinner).
Sunday: Parting is such sweet sorrow, until we meet again in 2026. There is a lovely Catholic church not too far from the hotel, for those who are interested. We will check on Mass times before the weekend. Last time, a group congregated at a local brewhouse after Mass because we just hated to see the weekend end.
Plans are still evolving so stay tuned after the first of the year for more information (or just a friendly reminder). We might have some surprises in store, you never know. We suggest making reservations early so we know if we have to request additional rooms.
Checks should be made out to Bishop Moore Class of ’66 and mailed to John Bulat 6216 SR 535 Windermere FL 34786. jbulat@cfl.rr.com
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, feel free to contact one of us. In the meantime, we wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Special greetings for any other holiday you may celebrate in the weeks ahead!
